We’re coming to see you!
We’ve been busy preparing a special surprise for this spring; an epic road trip across the province to visit you, our listeners across Alberta.
To commemorate 20 years since CKUA fans rallied to bring the station back from the dead, David Ward is once again heading out to all 16 communities that house our transmitters and this time, he’s bringing Hayley Muir along for the ride.
From April 2 -7th, join us for a week full of live shows, special concerts and stories called in from the road. It’s just our way of thanking you for the vital support that you’ve given us over the decades, and connect with the communities where we broadcast. Thanks to funding from the Alberta Foundation of the Arts, we also aim to showcase some of the amazing musical talent and beloved venues across our province.
And we’ll wrap the whole thing up with a massive party back at CKUA HQ in Edmonton — with a live edition of The Celtic Show and a Leeroy Stagger concert to debut his new album, Love Versus.
Plus, a few more surprises along the way.
And if you can’t make it in person, tune in to CKUA for frequent updates from the tour, and connect with us on social media with the hashtag #CKUAtour.
