Knockin' em dead in my living room lately is: Travesias, by Susana Baca.

Susana Baca's sensouous and intimate singing is given a new sound with a new setting: the ubiquitous Kevin Breit somehow makes his way on to this disc, as do Austin's Joel Guzman on accordion, and the Tosca Strings - yes, the same Tosca Strings who toured with David Byrne. Marc Ribot (long time guitar player with Tom Waits) also joins the fun.
