JOHNNY OTIS' 'WEDDING BOOGIE' 78 ON SAVOY 'FREE SAMPLE' LABEL
This is a fun one, from 1950 - a 'mini-drama'
by Johnny Otis' Congregation. Little Esther is the bride,
Mel Walker is the groom, Lee Graves is the preacher.
Note the 'Free Sample' DJ promo Savoy label. As well, the
label informs us that this disc is made of 'Sav-O-Flex' -
unbreakable under normal use.
We heard Wedding Boogie on the
Sept 18 Boogie At 78 rpm edition of RRR.
