Kai Winding Sextette - A Night On Bop Mountain
A few years ago, I received a call from one of my neighbourhood
second hand stores advising me to get on over there quickly
as a batch of shiny jazz 78s had just come in. They said they’d
hold them back for me for an hour or so. I zoomed over there
right away and was totally amazed to fine an awesome stash
of mostly Be Bop 78s. I believe I bought about a hundred records
that day. I call them the Be Bop Batch.
We heard this Kai Winding Sextette disc on
the May 15/06 RRR broadcast. Check the label for the incredible
