LITTLE JR. PARKER DUKE 78 FROM 1955
Here's a nice one - an early Duke 78 from 1955 by Little
Junior Parker & His Blue Flames. Little Junior made some of
his first sides for Sun Records. In fact, I Wanna Ramble
is, in many ways, a carbon copy of his great 1953 Sun
recording, Feelin' Good. Next time you hear Elvis
singing Mystery Train think Little Junior Parker.
He recorded it first - for Sun, in 1953.
We heard this raw blues number on the May 21/07 More
Shufflin' at the Shellac Shack all 78 edition of
Roooooooy's Record Room.
