1953 HANK SNOW CHRISTMAS EP
Here’s a little Christmas present for you Label Corner fans
- a nice scan of Hank Snow’s 1953 45 rpm EP A Country
Christmas With Hank Snow. The little string on the top
came with the record. Imagine a Christmas tree full of these
little beauties.
Apparently, RCA Victor did a whole series of ornamental EPs in the early fifties. If one were really obsessed, one would try to collect them all. I’ve stumbled across a couple over the years with the Hank EP being my favourite.
We heard Hank’s brisk version of Frosty The Snowman on the December 18/06 Snowbound edition of Roy’s Record Room.
