CARL PERKINS' ORIGINAL VERSION OF BEATLE CLASSIC

Carl admitted to 'seeing dollar signs' as he hung out with the Beatles, teaching them the right way to play his tunes. Most of us heard Ringo singing Honey Don't way before we ever knew who the heck Carl Perkins was. This is his original 1956 Sun 45 of the tune.

Incidentally, if you flip the record over, you'll find Carl's original version of Blue Suede Shoes . Cool little 45, eh? We heard Honey Don't on the Sept 11 'Finger Full of 45s' edition of The Room.
