At the age of 12, Kushok entered the
Tibetan Buddhist monastery. At the age of 67, Ani-La
was ordained as a Tibetan Buddhist nun. Kushok is resident
teacher and spiritual director at Edmonton's Tibetan Buddhist
Centre, Gaden Samten Ling at 11403-101 Street (Phone 479-0014
