Europe '72 revisited on Dead Ends & Detours

This week, host Peter North is pleased to welcome longtime CKUA supporter and Grateful Dead fan Brian Elliott to Dead Ends & Detours.

Brian has been supporting CKUA since the very first fundraiser back in the nineties and he has generously made this particular installment of Dead Ends a donated hour, as he has done so many times in the past.

But Brian is also the proud owner of one of the Europe ’72: The Complete Recordings collections which was released by the Grateful Dead organization a year ago. Only 7200 numbered sets were issued and Brian will be dropping by Dead Ends with his steamer trunk full of Grateful Dead goodies, 72 discs in all, as we talk about the set and hear select tunes from the tour that took the Dead through continental Europe and the UK.
