Peters, Jesse

Our first introduction to Jesse Peters was as a member of the Peters Drury Trio which released two critically acclaimed recordings in 1999 and 2001.  The last time we heard from Jesse Peters, musically speaking, he was performing and recording as the funk/soul hipster Paramedic, and we were held in the sway of his "Funky Schway".  And now?  Well Jesse has reclaimed his jazz hat, with some soul on the side, on his new recording "Face Time"and joined host Monica Miller on How I Hear It, June 22, 2011.
