He was a Scruj MacDuhk before they became The Duhks. He was a member of the trio Moody, Penner and Swain. He was a Bill Hilly before they became The Bills. And then came Outlaw Social for 2 critically acclaimed recordings. He's a mesmerizing vocalist, a terrific songwriter and a whiz on guitar, banjo, and bass.

Oliver Swain's Big Machine (joining him is Quinn Bachand on guitar and Richard Moody on viola) will be performing that evening at The Blue Chair in Edmonton, before heading up to the North Country Fair for the weekend. The following week, (June 26th) they'll be at the Ironwood Stage and Grill in Calgary.
