On February 3, 2011 How I Hear It
host Monica Miller welcomed Michael Rault
to our palatial studios.† Celebrating the release of his first full-length recording Ma-Me-O
, we had the opportunity to get caught up with Michael and the great things that have been happening for him and his career with this new record.† Released on the Bedouin Soundclash owned and run label, Pirate's Blend, and distributed by Sony Music Canada, here's what his official bio tells the world...
ďIíve been around music all of my life,Ē says Rault.† And thatís no word of a lie.† He has a sturdy family music tree.† His mother, Debbie Williams is a vocalist who gigged around the Alberta capital, and his father, Lionel, is a musician and radio DJ who made something of a name for himself in the Rault Brothers, an act he formed with his sibling Ron. Rault admits that almost through osmosis, from being around such talented musical kin, he fell in love with the art.
That's the part of the story we already knew.† For Chapter 2, tune in:Listen to the interviewSubscribe to the podcast feed
