AWARD for “Outstanding Business Practices Supporting Artistic Excellence.” In addition, the company’s earned revenue has increased by over 70%, investment in production values and artists development has increased by over 73%, and the company has a new facility that provides a consolidated base for creation, production and operations.
Rose has a proven history of mentoring emerging theatre professionals and arts companies as demonstrated through her full-time work with Quest, as an Instructor in the Fine Arts Department at Mount Royal University (College) and working with smaller arts companies to assist them in strengthening their administrative and financial systems.
In 2010 Rose was honored to receive the Rosza Foundation Human Resources Award. An active community volunteer, Rose currently serves as volunteer Workshop Facilitator for the Board Development program with Alberta Culture and Community Services.
Her dedication to emerging artists, community collaboration, and sustainable business practices has been instrumental in creating an award winning company that celebrates the spirit and responsibility of Theatre for Young Audiences.
